Paper Water Lilies & Chrysanthemums

❤❤❤

Make these flowers with copy paper!

These files were created for personal use. The files are in PDF & SVG formats. If you have Adobe Illustrator, you can edit the colors and sizes to your liking. Otherwise, request changes in the comments and I'll try to make them available. In the meanwhile, download the pdf instead. I cut my shapes with my Silhouette Cameo, but they may be cut by hand as well! Foliage is also included in the water lily files.

How to Make Paper Water Lilies:

  1. Gather all craft materials & download the pattern at the end of this post.

  2. Cut shapes from copy paper using scissors.

  3. Using a curling tool or a thicker-barreled writing instrument, curl petals inwards towards center. Exclude (1) center piece.

  4. Fold excluded center piece in half. Then fold in half again. Cut pointed fold area to create flat surface to glue.

  5. Organize petals in size order for easy assembly.

  6. Assemble flower by gluing, working from the outer petals inwards, towards center.
