Paper Daisies
❤❤❤
Simple repetitive petals with complex and busy centers, daisies were long on my list of paper flowers to make. I worried about how to replicate the centers and ultimately decided on a simple fringing and layering technique that provided wonderful results.
Daisies are symbols of innocence, gentleness and purity. They represent beauty and loyal love. It is the favorite flower of one of my dearest friends - so naturally, I had to make them! While fringing may be a bit tedious, follow the steps below to achieve a softer, more realistic result.
For another flower with a complex center, take a look at my paper dahlia template and tutorial. Mix & match for a lovely bouquet!
